Showing up at a fashion show dressed as Hannibal Lecter might not seem like the wisest decision to set the mood. But Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz thought it wasn’t such a bad idea and did just that in 2010. He arrived strapped to his chair and wearing a Hannibal Lecter mask. Not only was it weird, but the audience didn’t really get the message, and neither did we.

His duct tape pants may not be as cute as Flea’s plush pants, but they easily rank in the weird outfit category…. We certainly have to give him some points for creativity. Something to think about, though.
Look #7: Ozzy Osbourne
A question of hair.
Although the Prince of Darkness had his share of crazy styles, especially in the ’80s, none of his outfits were more shocking than seeing Ozzy with short hair. Looking like an everyman feeding pigeons. It’s a far cry from the image we all know of the rocker setting the stage on fire. The photo (left) was taken in Glasgow in 1982 and is likely to leave you speechless.

You’d think most metal music fans would prefer to stay clothed in front of a crowd of 300,000. However, David Lee Roth doesn’t fall into this category. During a concert in May 1983, the Van Halen singer decided to reveal a good part of his buttocks to his fans, thanks to a pair of specially designed pants. You can imagine how memorable the experience must have been for the audience… 🔞

Here’s a rather dangerous bunch of big brawlers. This is one of the first group shots of Tankard’s German thrashers. And honestly, you’d never guess they were a thrash metal band by looking at this photo. These guys look more like a bunch of high school chess players!

More like a woman’s dress than a shirt for me…
The eccentric frontman of progressive metal band Tool has often shown his taste for women’s clothing during the band’s performances. 👚 You may have seen photos of him wearing a bra, but this one shows him in a white dress, with high heels too.

I am fabulous.
The late rock icon Kurt Cobain wasn’t really into flashy clothes. Instead, he tended to dress all in black and avoid overdoing it.
